Welcome to St. Simon Peter Episcopal Church. We are the only Episcopal Church in St. Clair
County, Alabama. The heart of our weekly worship services is the Holy Eucharist or Holy
Communion. As an Episcopal Church, we use the 1979 Book of Common Prayer in our worship.
All baptized Christians are welcome and are encouraged to participate in the Holy Eucharist. You
will find a warm welcome from the members of St. Simon Peter when you attend the services
of Holy Eucharist.
We are active in outreach ministries in our local community. Our members serve in many of the local charitable outreach ministries and St. Simon Peter contributes generously to support those outreach ministries.
As their Interim Rector, I am impressed with the love, generosity, and sincerity of faith of the members of St. Simon Peter. I am regularly present on Wednesdays and Sundays. However,
I am present at other times as needed including hospital and nursing home visitation.
